From The Watchtower

11th February 2018

You saw me from a distance,
Eons ago and before my mothers womb,
You delighted in me,
In the creation of your child,
And sang over me.
All heaven rejoices.

For you Lord, have broken the shackles,
You have set the captives free,
And opened blind eyes,
Your creation sings of your glory.

He sings over you,
Such is His delight,
Precious in His eyes,
Love unconditional,
And what does He see?

Conceived, in His mind,
Precious creation,
Do you not know,
He died for you.
Utterly in love,
He did not see you writhing in your filth,
He did not see the sickness in you,
He did not see you bound in your sin.

What did He see?
He sees you,
Perfect in His love,
His arms encircle,
And His blood covers you,
He whispers in your heart,
“Trust me. I love you my child, for eternity”.

Praise Him,
Let all creation praise Him,
Our redeemer and saviour and friend,
Father to the fatherless,
Encompassing love to the rejected,
He rejoices and sings over you,
Precious child,
His child for eternity.

Let your heart not be heavy,
Those who carry a burden,
But who trust in the Lord.
You think He does not see,
And yet He sees your deepest desires,
He knows you, as a Father knows his children.

He hears your prayers,
And although time is nothing to Him,
He created the seasons,
So there are seasons in your life.
For He leads you in pastures green,
Leave your burdens at His door,
And He will carry them.

But a little while and the seasons will change,
Train your heart and mind on Him,
Set your feet in a secure place,
Do not turn to the right or the left,
But daily listen at His door,
And He will lead you.
The shepherd of His people,
Like lambs, He will lead you,
And you will know His voice.

He will not abandon, not one,
For He will bring back those who have strayed,
He shelters and protects.
Mothers raise your voices for your children,
And do not lose heart,
He hears and will bring back,
The tender lambs,
To salvation.

Peace, Let your heart be at peace,
To those who fear and love the Lord.
Do not pay regard to the clamour around you,
The chitter chatter of fools,
For they vent their anger,
And lash out with their tongues,
And do not give thought to their ways.

Keep your eyes on the Lord,
Your feet from stumbling,
Follow Him in all your ways,
And you will not be put to shame.
No weapon formed against you will prevail,
For the Lord covers you with His protection.

For the one who listens at His door,
There is healing in His wings,
Your children shall be healed,
From all their afflictions.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And He will do it.
See the Lord comes in a moment,
His Spirit upon those that fear the Lord,
Lift up your voice in thanksgiving and praise,
For He has already done it.

My basket and kneading trough,
Are full of good things,
For surely the Lord will bless me,
All the days of my life.

The sun rises and the sun sets,
And there are only so many hours in the day,
To do good in the land.
Look to your Saviour,
Look to your Redeemer.

For the hour is coming,
And is almost here,
When He gathers His children,
Under His cloak,
Where He sets them apart,
And covers them.

Pray, Pray, Oh my soul,
I bow down before the King,
O Lord be merciful,
Turn the children’s hearts to the Father,
Salvation is yours to give.

But you come as a King,
A fierce warrior,
You tread the winepress of your anger,
Over those who come against you,
Against your children.

Lord help us,
For we are but dust,
You know our weaknesses,
Forgive us Lord,
And bring your righteousness and peace,
to those who love you.
Help us Lord,
Strengthen us and covers us,
In the coming days.

I bow down and praise you O Lord,
Creator of the heavens and the earth.
You formed me in my mothers womb,
As clay in the potters hand,
I am fearfully and wonderfully made,
Created in your image,
You put the words in my mouth.

Open up you ancient doors,
That the King of Glory may come in,
Clothed in splendour as the sun,
A sceptre in His right hand,
And dressed for battle.

O Israel see your king,
For He treads the winepress of His anger,
Over the nations of the earth.
Hold fast, hold fast and know that He will come,
For one has set his heart on Jerusalem,
Most holy of places,
Lifting himself up,
He is an abomination and stench in the Lords nostrils.

Let the Holy Ones rise up,
And contend with the nations,
Those who come against the ancient city,
Ready your hearts O Israel,
Mothers hold your children close,
Run, but there is nowhere to run,
Flee to the hills but there is no time,
You will be overtaken.

Gather them in from the nations,
Even from the ends of the earth,
For they will see their Saviour,
Who redeems Israel forever.

Rest in the Lord, all you His children,
Be not anxious or afraid,
For the things of this world are nothing,
They are here today but gone tomorrow.

You who are burdened,
You who are oppressed,
You who are sick,
You who cry daily at His door,
You who struggle and have no money,
Hold fast your faith and trust in Him.

For He is faithful,
He hears your prayers and gathers your tears.
A time is coming and is near,
When you no longer cry or struggle.

Know this, that the Lord is doing a new thing,
He has marked His children,
And they will know His rest.
Enter into His rest,
Be not anxious or afraid.

He will gather you to Himself,
And you will know His presence,
You will know His love, as high as the heavens from the earth,
Forgiveness, He has removed your transgressions,
As far as the East is from the West.

Salvation and blessing are from the Lord God Almighty,
Nothing you do will make Him love you any more than He does already.
Caste your burdens on Him,
And think of them no more.
For He will wrap you with his cloak of love,
He will be your Father,
He is your protection and provision,
He is your healer and will wipe away all your tears.
Rest in Him, all His children.
