From The Watchtower

15th April 2018

The pure of heart,
Will sing a new song,
Hosanna in the Highest,
Your God Reigns.

For did He not promise,
And has He not said,
The Book shall be opened,
And there was silence in Heaven.

For all those who have faith,
Hold on, for yet a little while,
And He will come,
He is at the door.

All you who call out to the Lord,
Hold fast your faith,
You will see terror on all sides,
Your hearts will melt with fear.

Yet the Lord is faithful,
In a moment, before all faith fails,
He will return,
He will gather you,
The righteous on one side, the wicked on the other.

Then He will recompense,
Those slain in the name of the Lord,
The blood of the innocent,
And those wronged in His name.

The Book will be opened,
Your time has come, you kings of the earth,
Nothing will remain hidden,
But everything under the sun will be revealed.

The wicked will cry out on that day,
Let the rocks fall on us and hide us,
And He will crush them under His feet,
He will a-sign them into the depths of hell,
The fiery furnace and eternal damnation.

But to the faithful,
He places a robe of righteousness over them,
A crown of Salvation,
Never again oppressed,
But delighting in His presence always.

Lift up your voices, oh you saints,
Sing glory to the Most High,
For your God Reigns,
Hosanna in the Highest.

From The Watchtower

12th February 2018

He raises himself up with pride in his heart,
“Who is like me,” he asks,
As he comes riding above the nations,
“Peace, peace,” he calls,
Yet the man of sin,
Is a stench in the Lords nostrils.

He gloats over his enemies,
And has no regard for women,
He walks through the nations and says,
“There is none like me.”

For a time, times and half a time,
So shall it be,
Peace and prosperity will come,
He will enter Jerusalem,
Bowing down in false pretence,
But deceit is in his heart.

Look all you nations,
For the time has come,
An abomination has set itself up,
On the holy hill.

But in a moment it shall be swept away,
For the Lord will come,
Riding the heavens,
A sceptre of judgement in His hand,
And He will trample him in an instant.

All you who trust in the Lord,
Hold fast your faith,
Do not believe the lies that spew forth,
Hold fast your faith,
Bow down and pray,
That it may not touch you.

And the Lord will hear your prayers,
The prayer of the righteous,
And He will deliver you on that day.
Praise the Lord,
Sing forth praises to His holy name,
For deliverance and judgement are in His hand,
On that day.

From The Watchtower

7th February 2018

Who may go up to the holy hill,
Who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who would serve the Lord,
For those who seek after the Lord will find Him.

The decree has gone out,
“Do not be afraid, My children,
Look to Him who saves you,
Stand at the gate posts and blow the trumpet,
And warn my people.”

The day will turn to night,
Darkness, deep darkness will cover the earth,
The stars will fall from the sky,
Yet the Lords Word will stand.

Watch and see the Lords hand do it,
For is there anything impossible for Him,
He searches through all the earth,
For those who would serve Him.

Go up, go up, to the Holy Hill,
Blow the trumpet,
For have not the nations conspired,
Under shouts of  “Peace, peace,”
Yet the day will come,
When Jerusalem is surrounded.

Do not give rest to your voice,
You servants of the most High God,
Call out to the East,
Call out to the West,
Call out to the North and South,
Gather your children, Oh Israel,
And see a marvellous thing.

You will see your God coming,
Mighty is He,
He will strike fear into all your enemies,
And trample them on that day.

The lion will lie down with the lamb
The parched desert will have streams of living water,
Flowing through it,
The hyena and jackal will find rest,
The creatures of earth,
Both great and small will no longer hunt,
And blood will not be shed.

So great is the Lord,
All the earth will praise Him,
The heavens His throne and the earth His footstool,
All creation groans until the day of the Lord.

His word goes forth,
From one end of the earth to the other,
The riders on their horses are loosed,
Great and terrible is the day of the Lord,
He comes to judge,
To call all nations before Him,
Not one can hide.

Do you not know and have you not seen,
The works of His hand,
The stars in the heavens,
The sun and moon to mark the seasons,
And give light.
The rain to water the crops and land.

How is it that you say in your heart,
“There is no God,”
Yet the nations follow their idols,
Yet they curse what they do not know,
And stumble and fall but do not know why.

The Lord will gather them on that day,
And trample them as in a winepress,
Judgement will come to all those who follow after idols,
And say in their heart,
“There is no God.”

But the righteous shall be saved,
They will stream to His Holy Hill,
And bring offerings of thanksgiving and praise,
The highway for the righteous,
And streams of living water will flow there.

He will call you by name,
And set you in high places,
His love will cover you,
And He will gather you in His arms,
You will shine brighter than the stars in the heavens,
And all your ways will be blessed,
Praise and thanksgiving be to our God,
Forever and ever.

2nd February 2018

As the sun rises and sets,
From one end of the earth to another,
And as the seasons are set that bring springtime and harvest,
So, the season is set in its place.
The Lord Almighty has declared,
The season is ripe for the harvest.

They come from the East,
They come from the West,
They come from the North and from the South,
They pour forth into the holy land,
Sons and daughters returning,
For the word has gone out,
“Return to Me,” says the Lord.

“I will gather you as an eagle,
I will cover you with my pinions,
And once again make my name holy,
Amongst you.”

In an instant you will see,
The one rejected,
And understanding will enter your hearts,
And light will fill the dark places,
You will see Him,
As He comes riding on the heavens,
And on that day,
You will feel remorse for your rejection of Him.

But He will gather you in His arms,
As a Father his children,
He will comfort you,
While He goes through the nations with His winnowing fork,
And once again bring righteousness and justice.

Jerusalem shout out for joy,
Your king comes,
And His arm is with you.
He will trample the nations before you,
And judge them on that day.

Holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty,
Praise Him,
From the ends of the earth,
Let all creation praise Him.

From the Watchtower

30th January 2018

Do you not know and have you not heard,
The Lord’s arm is with Him,
To raise up and to lower,
For a little while He will raise what is not holy,
For His good purpose.

He sees the hearts of men,
And knows their schemes,
He rides the heavens,
And looks down from His throne.

They would scheme to raise one above all others,
Peace, peace, they cry,
But wickedness and deceit are in their hearts.
To defraud the oppressed and needy,
To steal from the widow and orphan,
To take away justice,
And change the order of things,
Times and seasons.

The Lord laughs at their schemes,
From His holy place,
For a time, times and half a time,
Prosperity will come,
Then they will devour one another.

Do you not know and have you not heard,
Nothing is hidden from the Lord God Almighty,
He has saved a day,
A day of judgement for the man of sin,
A day of judgement for the nations.

When His arm extends to do it,
Then the righteous will rejoice,
Hold on, Hold on my children,
For the time is close and you will be avenged and see it.

All glory to our God,
Almighty and majestic is He,
Praise Him, Praise Him, all the earth,
For He comes to bring justice and righteousness,
He will do it.

 17th January 2018

My basket and kneading trough,
Are full of good things,
For surely the Lord will bless me,
All the days of my life.

The sun rises and the sun sets,
And there are only so many hours in the day,
To do good in the land.
Look to your Saviour,
Look to your Redeemer.

For the hour is coming,
And is almost here,
When He gathers His children,
Under His cloak,
Where He sets them apart,
And covers them.

Pray, Pray, Oh my soul,
I bow down before the King,
O Lord be merciful,
Turn the children’s hearts to the Father,
Salvation is yours to give.

But you come as a King,
A fierce warrior,
You tread the winepress of your anger,
Over those who come against you,
Against your children.

Lord help us,
For we are but dust,
You know our weaknesses,
Forgive us Lord,
And bring your righteousness and peace,
to those who love you.
Help us Lord,
Strengthen us and covers us,
In the coming days.

From The Watchtower

14th January 2018

Rest in the Lord, all you His children,
Be not anxious or afraid,
For the things of this world are nothing,
They are here today but gone tomorrow.

You who are burdened,
You who are oppressed,
You who are sick,
You who cry daily at His door,
You who struggle and have no money,
Hold fast your faith and trust in Him.

For He is faithful,
He hears your prayers and gathers your tears.
A time is coming and is near,
When you no longer cry or struggle.

Know this, that the Lord is doing a new thing,
He has marked His children,
And they will know His rest.
Enter into His rest,
Be not anxious or afraid.

He will gather you to Himself,
And you will know His presence,
You will know His love, as high as the heavens from the earth,
Forgiveness, He has removed your transgressions,
As far as the East is from the West.

Salvation and blessing are from the Lord God Almighty,
Nothing you do will make Him love you any more than He does already.
Caste your burdens on Him,
And think of them no more.
For He will wrap you with his cloak of love,
He will be your Father,
He is your protection and provision,
He is your healer and will wipe away all your tears.
Rest in Him, all His children.

12th January 2018

Look, look,
Smoke arises up on the day of its destruction,
Sodom and Gomorrah are destroyed in an instant.
Lot was the only righteous one,
Plucked out and saved.

So it will be in the coming days,
The great city,
That, that has corrupted the earth,
Has been marked.

I was beckoned beside them,
The two angels sent from the Lord.
They were going throughout the city,
Looking for the righteous.
Darkness covered the city,
No lights were there.
Evil dwelt there.

“Come,” they said to me,
“For the time has come, the Lord has sent us.
For this city is like, as in the past, Sodom and Gomorrah.
It has been marked for destruction.”

I called out to the Lord,
“Lord, surely there are some righteous in here.”
And as I looked I saw one light shining forth.
And then I saw one down on their knees praying.
The angels passed by that house.

So it will be,
A time is coming where nations, cities and towns are marked,
O be terrified earth for the time has come.

Light your lamps O you righteous,
For the Lord will see..
Though you are surrounded by darkness,
Yet the Lord will save you on that day.
Prepare your hearts,
Those who are righteous will shine forth,
Brighter and brighter,
Like the stars in the night sky.
They will no longer dwell in the darkness,
But the Lord will be their Saviour.
