The lion will lie down with the lamb
The parched desert will have streams of living water,
Flowing through it,
The hyena and jackal will find rest,
The creatures of earth,
Both great and small will no longer hunt,
And blood will not be shed.

So great is the Lord,
All the earth will praise Him,
The heavens His throne and the earth His footstool,
All creation groans until the day of the Lord.

His word goes forth,
From one end of the earth to the other,
The riders on their horses are loosed,
Great and terrible is the day of the Lord,
He comes to judge,
To call all nations before Him,
Not one can hide.

Do you not know and have you not seen,
The works of His hand,
The stars in the heavens,
The sun and moon to mark the seasons,
And give light.
The rain to water the crops and land.

How is it that you say in your heart,
“There is no God,”
Yet the nations follow their idols,
Yet they curse what they do not know,
And stumble and fall but do not know why.

The Lord will gather them on that day,
And trample them as in a winepress,
Judgement will come to all those who follow after idols,
And say in their heart,
“There is no God.”

But the righteous shall be saved,
They will stream to His Holy Hill,
And bring offerings of thanksgiving and praise,
The highway for the righteous,
And streams of living water will flow there.

He will call you by name,
And set you in high places,
His love will cover you,
And He will gather you in His arms,
You will shine brighter than the stars in the heavens,
And all your ways will be blessed,
Praise and thanksgiving be to our God,
Forever and ever.

I bow down and praise you O Lord,
Creator of the heavens and the earth.
You formed me in my mothers womb,
As clay in the potters hand,
I am fearfully and wonderfully made,
Created in your image,
You put the words in my mouth.

Open up you ancient doors,
That the King of Glory may come in,
Clothed in splendour as the sun,
A sceptre in His right hand,
And dressed for battle.

O Israel see your king,
For He treads the winepress of His anger,
Over the nations of the earth.
Hold fast, hold fast and know that He will come,
For one has set his heart on Jerusalem,
Most holy of places,
Lifting himself up,
He is an abomination and stench in the Lords nostrils.

Let the Holy Ones rise up,
And contend with the nations,
Those who come against the ancient city,
Ready your hearts O Israel,
Mothers hold your children close,
Run, but there is nowhere to run,
Flee to the hills but there is no time,
You will be overtaken.

Gather them in from the nations,
Even from the ends of the earth,
For they will see their Saviour,
Who redeems Israel forever.

The nations are in an uproar,
They go from here to there and there to here,
They sit and they talk,
They point the finger and accuse,
Like rabid dogs they all snarl and bite one another.
No one trusts another,
They smile and nod and fold their hands,
All the time deceit is in their hearts.

But one will rise up amongst them,
He goes from one to the other,
And he thinks of them as fools.
All his words manipulate,
One minute angry, the next smooth and talking of peace,
Confusion is his tool to rule.

But look all you people of the earth,
Tremble and fear,
For the time has come.
Do not fear him, the Man of Sin,
But rather fear the Lord God Almighty,
Who can save your souls unto salvation.

For has it not been written,
And the Lord will do His good purpose,
For surely everything is in the Lords Hand,
Even the Man of Sin,
For the day of judgement.

The Lord God Almighty will do it,
He has marked His Holy Ones,
The earth trembles,
For the time is near,
A great shaking, an earthquake,
Cry out to the Lord, Seek after Him.
Is there not still time?
All nations will bow down,
At the coming of the King.

A Vision

A great lion stands on a mountain top.
At His feet appears to be the sea.
But when He asks me to look again I see people, millions of people at His feet.

He lifts his great head and roars and the sound of His roar shakes the heavens.
He shakes His head, His eyes flashing and His great main magnificent in appearance,
and He is roaring at something.
I look and I see a huge and great bear,
It is black in appearance and standing to one side, pacing up and down.

There is a divide between the sea and the lion and the bear.
The lion roars again and then He stands and as He stands He turns into a King,
Great and mighty and majestic in appearance.
He holds a scepter in his right hand and a magnificent crown sits on His head.

Magnificent in appearance, His height is enormous
and He faces the bear, who has risen on its back legs.
But it is nothing compared to the King.
The bear cannot cross the divide.
It cannot come near the Lion/King, even though he paces around the divide in great anger.

I asked what the vision meant.

Israel, Oh Israel,
Hold fast.
For in the coming days one will rise up against you,
the nations follow at his feet.
Yet look to your Saviour – Lion of Judah.

For He shall come,
The great and mighty King.
He will be your saviour and King.
At His roar the nations will melt in fear.
He will come at the given time.

Nothing may stand before Him.
His scepter rules and all His enemies will be destroyed in a moment.
Hold fast your faith children of God,
For you will see your King.
