From The Watchtower

14th February 2018

Who is like the Lord,
Full of mercy and lovingkindness,
Slow to anger and merciful in all His ways,
Who looks down from heaven above,
And sees all mens hearts.

Seek Him while He may be found,
Ask Him to show you mercy,
Do not give rest to your supplications,
But bow the knee at His door.

For surely He will not crush the broken hearted,
And He will have mercy on the oppressed,
Their tears He collects,
And suffers our burdens to carry,
So it is that He will wipe away every tear.

Lean on the Lord while He may be found,
Cast your cares and worries on Him,
For He knows we are but fragile,
And He will carry them for us.

Do not worry yourself about tomorrow,
But listen at His door for today,
And you too will hear the small gentle whisper,
“Come my child, rest in Me.”

Do not fear the works of evil men,
Who go through the earth scheming,
Not happy until they have made others stumble,
And taken justice from the land.

For truly their deeds are not hidden,
The Lord has kept a day for judgement,
Do not take revenge or hate in your heart,
For then you are no better.
But let the Lord take up your case,
And bring judgement on that day.

Sing your praises to the Lord,
And give your lips no rest,
For surely the Lord has given you salvation,
And a hope for the future,
And His love is with you forever.

Do not mind what the evil do,
But walk in His love and grace,
You stretch your hand out to the needy,
And help the oppressed.
Then, when He sees your righteous acts,
You shall have rewards for eternity.

But know this,
His love is unconditional.
Who can fathom the love of God for His children,
He takes great delight in us,
And sings over us,
As a Father over His children.
