From The Watchtower

4th February 2018

The lion will lie down with the lamb
The parched desert will have streams of living water,
Flowing through it,
The hyena and jackal will find rest,
The creatures of earth,
Both great and small will no longer hunt,
And blood will not be shed.

So great is the Lord,
All the earth will praise Him,
The heavens His throne and the earth His footstool,
All creation groans until the day of the Lord.

His word goes forth,
From one end of the earth to the other,
The riders on their horses are loosed,
Great and terrible is the day of the Lord,
He comes to judge,
To call all nations before Him,
Not one can hide.

Do you not know and have you not seen,
The works of His hand,
The stars in the heavens,
The sun and moon to mark the seasons,
And give light.
The rain to water the crops and land.

How is it that you say in your heart,
“There is no God,”
Yet the nations follow their idols,
Yet they curse what they do not know,
And stumble and fall but do not know why.

The Lord will gather them on that day,
And trample them as in a winepress,
Judgement will come to all those who follow after idols,
And say in their heart,
“There is no God.”

But the righteous shall be saved,
They will stream to His Holy Hill,
And bring offerings of thanksgiving and praise,
The highway for the righteous,
And streams of living water will flow there.

He will call you by name,
And set you in high places,
His love will cover you,
And He will gather you in His arms,
You will shine brighter than the stars in the heavens,
And all your ways will be blessed,
Praise and thanksgiving be to our God,
Forever and ever.
